Hi! I'm Kate, and I love to make art and design things! (but you've probably already figured all of that out by now). I've always been creative in one way or another. I spent all my time growing up in a dance studio, training in strict classical ballet for a career in dance. In fact, I entered college at Texas A&M University as a dance major! However, it took me less than a year to realize that I enjoyed making posters for performances more than I enjoyed actually performing.
I then changed my major to Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction, with a double minor in art and dance (which has kept me pretty busy, if you can imagine!) The transition from dance to design was super easy, since I had always spent my free time doodling or knitting. Nowadays, graphic design is my passion, especially anything that's vintage and has bright colors, or has something to do with avocados.
When I'm not designing, you can probably find me hanging out with my puppy, Elvis, listening to a record and knitting something for my Etsy shop, Kiss Me Kate and Co. For more about what I've been up to, check out my resume below!
